Texas Showdown 2023

Texas Showdown 2023 is a TWT Dojo 96+ event taking place in Houston, Texas, USA from April 21-23. A total of 149 players, including notable players like Anakin, JoeCrush, Azeem, Azure, KingReyJr, Joonya, Cuddle_Core, and El Papi Big Bird, will be competing for a prize pool of $2,220 USD. The first place winner will earn 100 points towards their TWT standing, with point values decreasing down to 1 point for 9th place.

The MIXUP 2023

The MIXUP 2023 is a TWT Master event taking place in Lyons, France from April 22-23. A total of 195 players, including notable players like JoKa, D.F.P. Ulsan, KaizokuLars, Chikurin, Rangchu, PINYA, and Super Akouma, will be competing for a prize pool of €6,499 EUR (approximately $7,146.20 USD). The first place winner will earn 400 points towards their TWT standing, with point values decreasing down to 10 points for 17th place.

In addition to the tournament, The MIXUP 2023 will also be the second location for the Tekken 8 Closed Alpha Test. The Tekken community is speculating that a Tekken 8 reveal may take place at the event, possibly featuring the character Lili, who is from Monaco.
