Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada interviews EVO Japan 2023 Tekken 7 champion Arslan Ash

Arslan talks about his tournament experience, goals for this year and more.

Following the conclusion of Tekken 7 finals at Evo Japan 2023, Tekken developer Katsuhiro Harada sat down to interview newly crowned champion Arslan Ash of Pakistan.

In the interview, Harada asks Ash about his experience during the finals, his toughest opponents, his best performance of the weekend, and his overall thoughts on this year’s Evo Japan. Of particular interest was Ash’s response to how his accomplishments are perceived in his home country, where he is considered a celebrity and has been given the opportunity to be a brand ambassador for companies like Samsung. Billboards featuring Ash’s image are a common sight throughout Pakistan.

Harada also asked Ash about his future aspirations, to which he replied that he aims to win the final Tekken World Tour, which is the last one for Tekken 7. The interview concluded on a humorous note, with Harada asking Ash if he would be interested in appearing on his podcast.

Overall, the interview provides a fascinating glimpse into the world of Tekken and the impact that success in esports can have on an individual’s life.
