No-one would have suspected that Rangchu’s Panda would end up winning the 2018 Tekken World Tour finals. Sure, he made Top 8 at EVO this year as well, but still, did anyone truly expect a Panda to beat out Knee or Qudans’ Devil Jin? Tier lists matter, right? Not according to Rangchu.
In a recent interview with Gerald Lee from Core-A Gaming, Rangchu talks about his awe-inspiring championship win. He also explains how it is character matchup’s that matter most, considering the player of the character as well. They also talk about why Rangchu has remained faithful to Panda, plus the pros and cons of that character that actually work to his benefit. In addition, he gives a vote of confidence about Tekken’s balance as a whole, claiming that any character is viable and can win big.
