USA’s Anakin teaches how to backdash easily in Tekken – For 1P, 2P, pad, stick & swayback

Learn from a pro how to backdash in Tekken like pro!

Great movement is essential to being a ‘next level’ Tekken player. If you don’t have great movement, you won’t go very far in Tekken. Knowing a technique called ‘Korean backdash’ allows you to create spacing between you and your opponent, causing whiffs that you can punish, and many times even saving your behind by prevent the full punishment of an attack (like a knockdown).

Red Bull’s Hoa ‘Anakin’ Luu is one of the top players in North America and has one of the best backdashes you’ll ever see. He has created a tutorial that shows you how to easily perform this technique for both the 1 player and 2 player side, pad or stick, and even how to perform it with swayback characters.

Anakin says, “A quick impromptu tutorial from a daily stream where I teach my method of doing Korean Backdash. This particular method can be executed easily even with sway characters like Paul/Bryan/Nina. The chat reacted and felt it was so helpful that I should highlight/upload this for reference in the future. Good luck!”

It seems some are being helped by it already.

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
