Tekken 7’s rank system can be understood to a science with any mystique completely removed. It’s not random. Why don’t you rank up faster when defeating an opponent with a higher rank? Why don’t you have a demotion after repeat losses to a lower rank? All of this is explained and more, and hopefully it will help you gauge when you should be leveling up (or down, doh!).
