Apparently the Japanese TGS site said we were displaying footage, but it was just a previous trailer for TGS visitors who

hadn't seen it. No one messed up really. It was standard practice for TGS, but ppl got hyped for something new, when that wasn't the purpose

I spent a good part of yesterday investigating why this happened, no one at fault in the end. Unfortunate result, though

Mega video game expo Tokyo Game Show is currently taking place in Japan from September 21 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and runs through September 24. And according to Gematsu’s extensive and very detailed TGS 2017 stream schedule, Bandai Namco will be showing a new Tekken 7 trailer.
What could this one be about? More about Geese Howard? The next planned guest character? A surprise of some sort? Let’s hope all of the above.
Game Director, Katsuhiro Harada, was only scheduled to present once, which was yesterday on September 21 (Japan time). It is now September 22nd there, and as of this news story no trailer has been shown yet as far as we know. If we had to guess, it would probably be around the time the Dragon Ball FighterZ presentation is made, which is September 23rd at 4:00PM JST (3am EST).
Bandai Namco will be presenting several times over the next few days, and since it is only a trailer, it could be at any time. Once we learn about it we’ll make you aware.

Aziz Peregrino-Brimah aka Zee the CEO | Founder / Editor-in-chief of TekkenGamer | Gaming has been a passion of Zee's since the early days of Atari and ColecoVision. His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
