Last night on his weekly Monday Night Tekken stream, former EVO finalist turned esports commentator Reepal “Rip” Parbhoo made it known that professional Tekken gamer Jhaye-ar “Inkognito” (also an EVO finalist; Inkog for short) was in Philadelphia for the Tekken 7 launch even at Wizard World this past weekend. Inkog has been living in the Philippines for the last year or so, and has also become a family man. Many believed he was done with Tekken. Well, supposedly he was may be moving back to the states for a year.
At any rate, while in Philly he caught up with Rip, P.Ling and Tasty Steve, and you know with the new Tekken 7 game out they had to get some matches in. Tasty Steve captured it all and has uploaded it. Check out this intense 30-minute set, and see why these two are considered some of the best.
There’s footage of P.Ling too, so hopefully that will be uploaded soon.
Welcome back, Inkog!
Aziz Peregrino-Brimah aka Zee the CEO | Founder / Editor-in-chief of TekkenGamer | Gaming has been a passion of Zee's since the early days of Atari and ColecoVision. His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
