Scott Popular interviews JDCR & Speedkicks about FRXX Tekken 7 Grand Finals

JDCR tells Scott Popular he is surprised he lost to Joey Fury’s Jack-7.

Immediately after the Tekken 7 grand finals at Final Round XX, champion JDCR and runner-up Speedkicks were pulled aside for a quick interview with Scott Popular. A few interesting tidbits were learned from this interview, one being that JDCR was surprised that he lost to Jack-7 and ended up in the loser’s bracket. He also explains that he had to adjust his gameplay to adapt to the slower frame rate of the console version of the game. He is accustomed to the faster delivery of the arcade version. As well, he believes that it won’t take long for American players to catch up and be on the level of Korean players once the game comes out. Let’s hope he’s right. Time will tell.

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
