Hypespotting V and Wizard World Gaming recap, results and video

It has been an eventful time for Tekken this weekend, with two tournaments on different shores taking place at the same time. Hypespotting V, a major European tournament, took place in Scotland (Versus Scotland) and had Tekken Tag Tournament 2 included in their line-up. There was also Wizard World Gaming in St. Louis, MO (one of their many stops this year), and Tekken 7 was one of their three featured games.

Unfortunately, Hypespotting had some internet issues at their venue, so most of their planned streams did not happen. TTT2 was one of those that were cut from being broadcast. We would have loved to see those matches though, because the competition was fierce! But alas. Wizard World Gaming had a great stream without any hiccups, and we were able to catch each and every match. From the jump Brawlpro looked sharp and a step above the rest. We predicted that he would win and whaddaya know – he did.

Here are the results for both events, and link to to the Wizard World Gaming Top 8 is below.

His first experience with Tekken was in the early 90's, and it was Tekken 3 that sealed the deal. True story... As a teenager Zee once received his Winn-Dixie paycheck and spent it all at the arcade the same day. Needless to say, his mother wasn't pleased.
